How long will it take for Tarpaulins To Go to deliver my order?

We operate a free standard shipping service to UK Mainland addresses, which excludes all offshore addresses and some Highlands locations. If you upgrade to the Next Working Day delivery service, then providing your order is placed before 4pm, you will receive your order on the following working day. Orders placed after 4pm will be processed and despatched on the following day. Please note: Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not classed as 'working days'.

The Next Working Day service is applicable to England and Wales only. Deliveries to Scotland may be eligible for this service, but can take up to 3 business days and may incur a surcharge; we will contact you for further payment in such an event. Should you require further information about this, please contact us prior to placing an order.

All delivery times are estimates only. While these times are entered into in good faith, as we use third party carriers they cannot be guaranteed. Tarpaulins To Go cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of items. Unfortunately there may be delays to deliveries during times of adverse weather. However please be assured that we will continue to endavour to get your goods to you as quickly as possible.

We now offer a Saturday Delivery service (prices from £5+VAT). Orders need to be received by 4pm on Friday to qualify - however, if you do find yourself outside of this time frame, please give us a call on 01409 221192 and we will do our best to help.

We can also deliver to Ireland and Northern Ireland. These options are available through our shopping cart. Prices displayed are all subject to VAT at 20%, and are based on a consignment weighing no more than 30 kgs. For heavier items a higher charge will apply; we reserve the right to contact you in the event of underpaid shipping. Some rural areas may take longer than advised. Delivery times are approximate and exclude the day of collection.

Are Tarpaulins To Go able to deliver my order to a different address?

Yes. When placing your order there is the option to indicate a different delivery address; please select this option. To save costs we always attach the invoice to your parcel; however, should you require this to be sent elsewhere please indicate this preference in the comments box. Please remember your billing address is the address at which your credit card is registered.

Are the prices stated applicable for UK mainland only?

All next-day prices quoted are based on delivery to the UK Mainland only. Delivery charges for any offshore island or Highlands location are quoted on a case by case basis, and are subject to change based on parcel weight and number of parcels; if not advertised above, charges can be obtained by calling our sales office on 01409 221192.

What is the latest time of the day I can place an order for next day delivery?

4:00pm is our cut off time for next working day delivery. If you do miss this time, please contact our Sales Office on 01409 221192, and we will do our best to meet your order requirements. Please note: next day carriage is only available for delivery to UK Mainland addresses (excluding offshore and some Highlands locations).

How can I track my order and contact Tarpaulins To Go?

We can track orders via our online parcel tracking system, and should be able to advise you where your order is at any given time. We pride ourselves on being the most competitively priced suppliers of tarps, dust sheets, poly rope, debris netting, scaffold sheeting and accessories on the web. By saving admin costs we are able to pass the savings on to the customer. This is why we have a limited window of time when you are able to contact us by phone.

How do I know if a product is out of stock?

All orders received via our web site are checked on a regular basis. One of our Sales team will contact you by telephone and/or email if any of the items on your order are out of stock. If we are out of stock of an item you require, we will do our best to offer you an alternative product or advise you when the product will be back in stock.

Our website is monitored and kept up-to-date on a daily basis; therefore any items shown to be 'Out of Stock' are currently unavailable. If the product you are looking to purchase is marked as out of stock, please contact our Sales Office and we will do our best to advise of the expected arrival date.

Can I change or add to an order?

Yes. Please call our friendly customer service team on 01409 221192 and, as long as the order has not been shipped, we will be happy to help you.

Why is there a seam on my cover?

Most tarps need a seam as it is impossible to fabricate a tarpaulin without heat sealing several pieces of polyethylene together. A seam may not be necessary on some of the smaller sizes as they can be fabricated from one piece of material. This also applies to dust sheets where a seam is stitched.

What is the best way to secure a tarpaulin?

It is essential that your tarp is tied down properly; if it is not it may tear and the eyelets may fall out. Tarpaulins To Go therefore cannot be held responsible for weather-related damage to tarpaulins. We would recommend using bungee cords wherever possible; these are available for purchase in the 'Accessories' section. It is also recommended to tie down the tarp with rope, by fastening rope around the item to be covered. Furthermore, eyelets are provided as an aid for securing the tarp - they are not designed to have pressure applied to them by ratchet straps or any other misuse. We strongly recommend the use of extra eyelets.

Does Tarpaulins To Go accept all forms of payment?

Most certainly yes; Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Delta, American Express, and Paypal Express Checkout. You can now pay through PayPal even if you do not have a registered account.

How do I return an item?

Faulty Products

All our products are guaranteed free from defect at the time of purchase. However, if you find a fault at the time of opening the product we will replace the item at our cost. Please call one of our Sales team on 01409 221192, or email sales@tarpaulins-togo.co.uk; we will then arrange for the faulty item to to collected by one of our nominated carriers. We will always request to see a photograph of the fault; we have found this to be the best method in achieving a speedy and efficient resolution for our customers.

Non Faulty Items - change of mind.

If a product does not meet your expectations or is not required, you can return this to the address below. This must be returned at your cost unused and in its original packaging within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please obtain a proof of sending from the carrier as we cannot be held liable for any refund until the goods are received by our Warehouse staff. Please note: we charge a 10% restocking charge for returned goods. This will be deducted when we reimburse your credit card.

Do you have any promotions or voucher codes? How can I use them?

We run seasonal promotions, to include discount codes for repeat business. Voucher codes are sent to repeat customers with their orders.

To use your voucher code, simply enter the unique code at checkout. This will automatically apply the offer to your basket. Voucher codes are only valid on our website, and cannot be used in conjunction with eBay purchases.
